Lamthao fertilizers & chemicals.,JSC (LAFCHEMICO) (previously known as Super Phosphate Plant Lam Thao) by the Government of Vietnam Democratic Republic of starting construction June 8, 1959 on land Lam Thao Phu life after 3 years of construction and installation, the plant was put into manufacturing operations June 24, 1962.

Deputy Minister Vu Van Tam and chaired the opening conference. Attending the seminar were Mr Andrew Speedy, FAO Chief Representative in Vietnam, Deputy Chief of International Cooperation Nguyen Manh together 60 representatives from the Department, Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Department of Agriculture Rural Development, Center and a unit of media, newspapers in Vietnam.
